Bonnie Schneider is a CNN meteorologist who can be seen at HLN, CNN, and other platforms. On March 30, 2012, Bonnie will be the TV expert, co-executive producer and host of the DIY NETWORK special, titled THE LAST HOUSE RESISTING. The first book she has published is EXTREME WATER, Palgrave Macmillan. It was released on January 31, 2012, by Palgrave Macmillan. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. For three days in a week, Schneider was also the reporter for WB56 on WLVI TV in Boston. Before joining WB56 she worked as a weekend forecaster at WFOR-TV Miami. She was in various meteorology and reportage positions, including News 12 Long Island (a 24 hour cable TV news channel) and WXII TV in Winston-Salem. Additionally, she was employed by The CBS channel in New York City as a regular fill-in meteorologist for The Saturday Early Show.
